Fair in the family

These women were watching over the dairy cow barn at the State Fair.  The woman on the right has worked at the fair every year for the last thirty.  That’s dedication!  She showed me her 30-year pin — something she proudly wore on her suspenders.  She has spent each of those thirty years in the dairy barn.  The woman on the left said she has worked several fairs — at least four — but has worked in various places.  As they talked back and forth (and with me) it was obvious they got along well.  Compatible co-workers?  No.  Grandmother and granddaughter.  That clinched it.  I had to photograph them together.
