Can’t Anyone Score?

Published by Steve Campion. Category: Sports & Recreation

No, the Seattle Seahawks don’t play baseball but sometimes the score resembles that sport more than football.  Nine points is all both teams scored combined in the lowest scoring game in Seahawks history.  Combine that 2011 game with the franchise’s two next-lowest-scoring contests in 2016, and you’ll find nothing but field goals: three in one, four in the other two. No touchdowns. The team has played six games in which neither team managed to break into double digits.

We looked over the all the games scores in team history and put together the list below.  Does it have much meaning?  Who knows?  For what it’s worth, here are the lowest scoring games in Seahawks franchise history. (List updated in 2016 with red text.)
